• Write a letter to the three credit reporting agencies so that they are aware of the disputes that you are making. They have thirty days to respond to you. If they have not responded in thirty days write a follow-up letter to them.
• Put yourself on a payment plan so that you can finish paying off any other debts that you have.
• Pay as much over the minimum amount due as possible.
• Pay your monthly payment early or on time, but never late.

Whatever avenue you choose to take in finding information on self-repairing your credit make sure that you take the time to do it soon. The sooner you repair your credit, the sooner that your score will go up. When your score goes up, many opportunities that you do not have now will open up for you.
